At this meeting members will discuss the draft materials shared on May 29. The EITE Policy Advisory Group is comprised of representatives from different types of covered entities and other parties with an interest in the allocation of no-cost allowances to emissions-intensive, trade-exposed industries (‘EITEs’) under the Cap-and-Invest Program. They will provide input on a report to the Legislature related to the allocation of no-cost allowances to EITEs from 2035 to 2050. The meetings are open to the public to attend as observers. There will be an opportunity for public comment at the end of the meeting to share input and ask questions related to EITEs and the report.
